Why AdvisorServe Exists

Insurance is an essential component of good financial planning—and one of the most misaligned inside a fiduciary, fee-only model.

Historically, advisors have been forced into a false choice: either avoid insurance altogether or engage with systems driven by product incentives, opaque underwriting, and misaligned interests.

AdvisorServe exists to resolve that tension. We were built to support advisors who want insurance decisions to be as principled, disciplined, and client-centered as the rest of their planning process.

What AdvisorServe Is

AdvisorServe is an independent insurance back office and ongoing source of insurance counsel for fee-only fiduciary advisors.

We operate behind the scenes—providing underwriting analysis, carrier insight, policy review, implementation support, and ongoing service—so advisors can remain focused on advice, strategy, and long-term client relationships.

Our role is not transactional. Most advisor relationships involve ongoing consultation, policy review, and interpretation rather than new insurance placement.

What We Are Not

Clarity builds trust. AdvisorServe is not:

  • An asset manager
  • A product-driven insurance agency
  • A fulfillment center
  • A competitor for the advisor-client relationship

We do not sell investments, manage assets, or operate under carrier quotas. Our independence is structural, not rhetorical.

How We Think About Insurance

We approach insurance as a planning discipline, not a sales function.

Good insurance decisions require judgment—an understanding of underwriting realities, carrier behavior, policy mechanics, and long-term implications. Optimization alone is not enough.

Context matters. The right solution depends on the client’s health, balance sheet, goals, ownership structure, and planning horizon. Our job is to help advisors navigate those tradeoffs clearly and defensibly.

Who We Serve

AdvisorServe partners exclusively with fee-only fiduciary advisors.

We support advisors working across the full wealth spectrum—from straightforward protection planning for everyday clients to complex planning needs for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families.

In every case, our objective is the same: to ensure insurance supports the plan rather than introducing unnecessary risk, friction, or misalignment.

Our Role in the Advisor Relationship

Advisors use AdvisorServe as an extension of their team.

We answer questions, review policies, evaluate options, and provide continuity over time. When situations change, we help advisors reassess existing coverage rather than defaulting to new solutions.

The advisor remains the primary relationship. We remain accountable for the insurance.
